Viv was well known and very active in the Parents’ Group for Developly Disabled adults for many decades at Orange Grove School; a long-time attendee at St. John’s church and parish in Carmichael, CA Those who knew Viv said she was a “Joy” to be around and showed great love and compassion for all the animals she surrounded herself with, namely homeless dogs and cats. She grew up on a farm in the Midwest surrounded by various animals also, but her greatest love and companion was her horse “Colonel.” She is preceded in passing by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sturm, her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Minola Sturm of Joliet, Illinois.
