William Dennis Hall

August 12, 1951 — May 27, 2022

William D. "Denny" Hall: August 12, 1951 - May 27, 2022. Denny was born in New Jersey to William and Shirley Hall. He was raised in a large blended family with seven sisters and three brothers. He spent his youth in New Jersey and moved to California in 1980. Denny was lucky in love. He spent his last 42 years with the love of his life, his wife and best friend Deborah. They met as teenagers in New Jersey and reconnected again when he visited California. They quickly fell in love and they remained inseparable throughout their decades together. Denny had three daughters and a son and each one of them brought him the love and joy of grandchildren - twelve in total. He wore the badge of husband, father, Papa, son, brother, uncle and friend with pride and love. He was kind, generous, loving and funny. He always had a joke he wanted to share. Denny spent his professional life as a house painter, taking great pride in his work. He spent his free time enjoying the outdoors - fishing, hunting and camping. He waited anxiously for hunting season each year and spent weekends getting up at the crack of dawn to go fishing. There wasn't a fish he didn't want to catch. He loved music and enjoyed the annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. He also loved the occasional trip to the casino where he found good luck there from time to time. Denny's faith was strong and his love of the Lord fierce. At his passing, Denny was greeted by his parents, step-father, two sisters, daughter and grandson. Denny's services will be held on Thursday, June 30th at 11:00 am at Madison Avenue Baptist Church located at 4148 Madison Avenue, North Highlands, CA 95660.
