Bill Felicio, devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, beloved brother and uncle died peacefully in his Carmichael home. Born in Ryde, California to Amadeu Felicio and Mabel Pelonio Felicio. Bill spent his childhood and teenage years growing up in the Carmichael area. He attended Carmichael Elementary School, Mary Deterding Elementary School as well as Our Lady of the Assumption School. He graduated from La Sierra High School with the class of 1963. Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War with the 95th Medical Evacuation Hospital out of Ft. Benning, Georgia. After an honorable discharge he began his career working for Lucky Stores, Inc. as a journeyman clerk. In his 45 years with the company he held various positions in different departments. Bill was an avid sportsman and enjoyed playing baseball and basketball well into his senior years. He was a District 5 certified umpire, officiating for Carmichael Little League and also ASA men’s softball teams. Bill also enjoyed bowling, as he was a member of several leagues during the years. He also enjoyed golfing with friends and fishing wherever there was a river, lake, reservoir or slough. Bill often made trips to Wyoming and Montana to visit friends who shared his love for fishing. In his youth, Bill loved fast cars and antique roadsters and Model A’s and Model T’s and owned several. Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary (Cathy) Felicio, their son, Sean Michael Felicio, along with grandsons, Cody and Tyler Felicio. He is also survived by sisters, Clare Stromstedt, Alice Dill, and Rosie, brother Tony Felicio, sister-in-law, Linda Curley and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a mass of Christian burial on Saturday, May 15th at 11:00am, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 5751 Locust Ave., Carmichael. Reception to follow at the Tralee Center. A resurrection rosary will be held fifteen minutes prior to the mass.
