Virginia Marie Rodgers

Born in Visalia, CA September 13, 1932, passed peacefully on July 20, 2023 at age 90. She is survived by her loving family, son Dion and daughter-in-law Kirsten; daughter Erin and son-in-law Jeffrey Mezzetti; son Branden; grandchildren Devin Yoder, Sierra and Matteo Mezzetti, Alyssa and Breanna Rodgers; great granddaughters Julia and Harlow Yoder, Sophie Armstrong; great grandsons Miles Yoder and Decker Mezzetti. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud and son Tobin. Ginny graduated from McClatchy High school, followed by a career as a Weinstock's/Bruner's advertisement copy writer where she met Bud. Ginny was a stay-at-home mother until she graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. She became a Sign Language Interpreter for almost 20 years working primarily at Del Campo High School before retiring. She was a dedicated participant in church activities and leadership. Her warm charm and strength of character endeared her to family and friends, she will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to her celebration of life memorial on October 22, 2023 at 12:30pm at her church, Carmichael Presbyterian 5645 Marconi Avenue, Carmichael, CA 95608.
