Valerie Ann Gaylord

Valerie Ann Gaylord April 21, 1967- August 15, 2021 A woman with a heart full of love and a woman who courageously searched for God, and in her searching she found the greatest gift, Jesus. Valerie was a woman who gave so much to her family, friends and community. She valued relationship and cherished quality time with those she deeply cared for. Her bright, glowing smile and contagious laugh could be heard everywhere. She was a woman full of life and energy who loved nature, plants, flowers, trips to the ocean, hiking, working out and thought-provoking conversations. She had a strong desire to bring people together. Valerie was a woman with the gift of giving. She always gave with a full heart and willingly gave her “time” as a gift when she saw a need. Valerie was incredibly gifted in the area of administration and organization. In her professional life, she led and managed with enthusiasm and passion every day. She often helped the elderly, could clean like nobody’s business, help with gardening, meal prepping; pretty much anything you needed help with personally or professionally; she was your “get it done” girl! Valerie loved animals especially her pup, Vivian. She loved to take late night walks with friends and talk about life, love, faith and her kids. She was always learning and growing and wanted to become a better person. Valerie had great wisdom and advice filled with hope and encouragement. She learned to practice thankfulness and overcame struggles by giving to others even while struggling herself. Valerie wanted to be loved and to “give love” and that’s what she did! She would say her greatest accomplishment was raising her two children who she adored; Marissa 22 and Jacob 20. Valerie will be greatly missed and always remembered in our hearts.
