Valerie Jean Clark

Valerie was born in Oakland, CA in 1961,She lived her entire life in California. She graduated from Pinole Valley High in 1979 and went on to get her Nursing degree from Contra Costa College and then later her Masters from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Ca.. She was compelling and bold in her convictions, generous and fiercely independent in nature, at times marching to the beat of her own drum.Her devotion to taking care of others, being people or animals, was unsurpassed.She spent the last 30 years as a dedicated and compassionate NICU nurse.She is survived by her mother Betty Clark; brothers Dana and Kevin Clark; sister Rebecca Koelling; niece Miranda Koelling; nephews Jordan and Jerryd Koelling and great niece; Alyria Murray. She is preceded in death by her father, Ted Clark in 1996. A viewing will be held onOctober 26, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael.There will also be a Celebration of Life held on Nov. 7, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 at the Rusch Park Community Center Sunrise Patio, inCitrus Heights, CA, where we will celebrate her life and share stories of happy times with her.
