Tetyana Mykolaivna Herasymenko

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tetyana Herasymenko – beloved wife, daughter, mother and friend – at age 79. After three and-a-half year battle with cancer, she died around3 amPacific Time on Tuesday, December 6 at her home in Carmichael, California. She is survived by her daughters Ola Herasymenko Oliynyk, Oksana Herasymenko and Adriana Etchart, and her grandchildren Adrian Garcia Herasymenko, Olena Shmahalo and Kvitka Demkiv. Tetyana was born in Rohatyn, Ukraine. She immigrated to the United States about 25 years ago and became US citizen in 2003. She had been a well-known and valuable member of the Ukrainian community of Sacramento. Tetyana favored reading, gardening and helping people. She has touched many by her love, support, kindness and will always live in hearts of her family and friends.
