Terry Nephi Rees

Terry N. Rees, 61, passed away November 8, 2019 from cancer. Terry and his wife Ok, were residents of Carmichael, CA for a short while. Terry was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Norman and Linda Rees on September 14, 1958. Terry and his family moved from Idaho to Montana when he was eight years old. He graduated from Belgrade High School in 1977 (Belgrade, Montana) then attended Montana State University for a short while. He served in the United States Army from 1978 to 1991 in the United States, Germany and Korea. While serving in Korea he met Ok Hwang. They were married on January 12, 1989. Terry loved fishing, boating, scuba diving, camping, computers and repairing machines of all types. As a youth he enjoyed building and flying Estee rockets, football, basketball, scouting, and music. He played tenor saxophone and other instruments. He was a quick learner and a dedicated hard worker. He was employed by ABB prior to his death. He is predeceased by his father, Norman Rees, and both sets of grandparents. Survivors include his wife Ok of 30 years, a daughter from a previous marriage, five grandchildren, his mother, one sister, three brothers, an aunt, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place.
