Ted H. Weber

February 13, 1930 — August 7, 2017

Ted Weber, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, teacher, mentor and friend quietly passed away Monday August 7, 2017, at his home in Fair Oaks; he was 87 years old. Ted was a music teacher in the Fair Oaks Elementary School for 6 years and Mira Loma High School (San Juan U.S.D.) for 25 years. He also ran amazing student music camps for 42 years. He was a Deacon at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church. Ted was also a master mechanic, carpenter, pilot, seaman, qualified Eagle Scout, US Air Force Staff Sergeant and Stover engine enthusiast. With his partner in life Carol, they traveled the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Hawaii and Alaska during the 63 years of their married life. They built houses and a cabin, were amazing grandparents, and in January this year, became great-grandparents for the first time. They loved camping, fishing, exploring, sharing and photographing their many exploits with friends and family. His was truly a life well lived. He was a graduate of Sylvan Elementary, School, San Juan High School and Sacramento State University Masters program. His started at Fair Oaks Elementary School directing classroom music and choir. The last two years of six years he also directed the band. He moved to Mira Loma High School in 1960 as the San Juan Unified School District was formed. His groups in both venues won many awards in the competitions entered Ted is survived by his wife Carol, his three children Janet (Steve), Dave (Tammy) and Brad (Sarah), five grandchildren Devan (Paden), Honor,Makenna, Logan and Rachel and Great granddaughter Finley Grace.
