Shawna K. Paulson

Shawna Kay Paulson, 56, of Woodland California, lost her battle with cancer on February 26, 2021. Shawna was born to parents Ronald James Davis and Donna Rae Foster on July 5, 1964 in her hometown of Woodland California. Shawna graduated from Woodland High School in 1982, Where she met the love of her life Peter Paulson. The two dated for seven years before marrying January 30th, 1988. Together they had two children Kristen Kay Paulson and Jens Peter Holloway Paulson. Shawna worked as a bank teller for 25 years for many institutions before retiring from Umpqua Bank in 2009. She loved traveling and trying new things, she had traveled to Mexico twice with her daughter, snorkeled in the ocean and went sailing. She loved her day trips with her son on country rides, and she looked forward to her coast trips every year with her husband to Fort Brag and Bodega Bay two of her favorite places. Also, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, helping her husband Peter at the racetrack on Saturday’s and spending Sunday’s with her church family at the Woodland Christian Center. Shawna is survived by her Mother Donna Rae Foster, Brother Robbie James Davis, Husband Peter Thomas Paulson, Daughter Kristen Kay Paulson, Son Jens Peter Holloway Paulson, and her beloved furry baby Lucy. She was preceded in death by her Father Ronald James Davis, Grandparents Fred and Dorothy Martin and Larry and Emma Davis. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodland Christian Center and or Hospice.
