Shalyn Ogden

Shalyn Carlene Ogden, 44, of Orangevale, CA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, May 11, 2019. She was a wonderful, courageous, funny and kind soul. She was a loving mother to three beautiful children Evan, Max, and Madilyn. She was a caring friend to so many people throughout her life. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her three children, Evan, Max and Madi. Her husband Jason Ogden. Her mother Jan Kessler. Sister Deborah Roberts and Nephew Taylor Roberts. Sister and Brother in Law Dennette and Gafoa Soliai. Niece Samantha Soliai, (Leanne Perkins), Niece Jessica Soliai (Savelio Muasika), and Nephew Miguel Grimaldi. Nephew Anthony Pope and his three children Sidnie, Karlie, and Rodnie. Sister Shawna Karlberg and Niece Alexis Karlberg and Nephew Noah Bacenko. Her uncle Lonnie DeArmond (Aunt Carol) and cousins Carl DeArmond and Cliff DeArmond. As well as many Grandaunts and Granduncles McEntire’s in Oklahoma. She was a dedicated mother who spent most of her time participating in all her children’s school and extracurricular activities. Her children all went to Orangevale Open where she volunteered in all their classrooms, planning fundraisers, and any event needed. Being a mother was her biggest joy. In her free time, she would enjoy spending time with her close friends and with her family. All friends are invited to a celebration of life that will be held Saturday June 8, 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00pm at the Orangevale Grange located at 5807 Walnut Ave, Orangevale, CA 95662.
