Roy Everett Sorenson

Roy “Papa” Sorenson grew up in the Citrus Heights area and graduated from San Juan High School. In September of 1962 he married Jeanne Waggener and had two children. Throughout his life he most enjoyed supporting all his grandkids’ activities from soccer games to dance recitals. Some of the family’s fondest memories include trips to Disneyland, Angels Camp, and Wrights Lake. His memory will live on through children JoDee and Roy (Jill), grandkids Whitney (Sean), Jordan, Ellen (Brandon), Paul (Jess), Jocelyn, and Sara. As well as great granddaughters Karoline, Lily, and Hannah. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We love you, Papa!
