Ronald James Grommet

Ronald James Grommet was born October 27, 1964, and passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025,

surrounded by his family. Ron was born and raised in Sacramento.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents William and Lalla Grommet. He is survived by his wife

Kathleen and his children Liam and Sean, and his brother Michael (and wife Andrea).

Ron attended El Camino High School. He graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s

degree in accounting. He was an avid member of the Sacramento 20/30 club and also served as

president in 2005. Ron loved scuba diving, fishing and traveling.

Known for his kindness, compassion and generosity, Ron was the type of person that would give you the

shirt off his back. A devoted family man, he deeply valued his loved ones and touched the lives of

everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Sierra View Funeral Home,

6201 Fair Oaks Blvd. Carmichael, CA 95608.
