Robert Kerry Yarber was born July 2, 1954 and passed away on January 15, 2016. He was a loyal and caring husband, father and friend. Kerry was devoted to both his family and the United States Navy. He retired after 31 years of faithful service to the United States Navy as a CTTCM. Kerry is survived by his wife Cindy, of 29 years, his daughter Caroline, parents and siblings. He lost his 7-year war with cancer at the age of 61. Kerry fought tenaciously until the very end and left this life on his terms to look over the rest of us until we meet him again. A Celebration of Life will be on April 9, 2016 from 2-6pm at 3601 Buena Vista Drive, Sacramento CA 95864. All that knew Kerry will understand Hawaiian attire is requested. His cherished outdoor kitchen and bar will be open for all to enjoy. Stop by briefly or enjoy the entire afternoon. Military Honors Memorial Service will be held on April 10, 2016 at 1:00p.m. We will meet at the USS Hornet Museum Pier 3, Alameda Point, Alameda, California. Attire is Dress Blues or Business Attire. Kerry's family thank you for all your calls, flowers, cards, food, visits, and support. We miss him terribly and each one of you has helped us manage this very difficult time.
