Robert John Roberts

RobertJohn Roberts"Bob" passed away at the age of 80 on December 7, 2017 in the comfort of his home in Fair Oaks, CA. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Howard and Mary Roberts, brothers Ken and John Roberts, and his son Robbie Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 64 years ,Alice Roberts, his daughters Valerie, Cindy, and Linda, his sons Wayne and Mike, his brothers Ralph, Paul, Tom, Charlie and David, and his sister Kathy. He had 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Bob was born May 9, 1937 in Buffalo, New York. At the age of 4 he moved to California. He grew up in Camino, CA, where he went to school with his wife Alice. Bob worked for The State of California Division of Highways for 10 years. Leaving the state to join operating Engineers where he worked for Teichert and Granite construction as a foremen for 40 years. He then worked forWilldan Engineering in the City of Sacramento as an inspector for 5 year, retiring in 2009. He was a loving compassionate man. Bob left a lasting impression on the hearts of everyone that knew him. He will be missed by many friends and family.
