Robert Gustave Meidinger

It is with great sadness that we announce that Robert (Bob) Meidinger passed in peace at his home in Fair Oaks on Monday, January 15, 2018. Bob was a lifelong Sacramento resident, born on June 10, 1941 to Gus and Mildred Meidinger. Raised in Carmichael and graduated from La Sierra High School in 1959. Bob worked his entire career in his family's flooring business and owned and operated his own business Cordial Floors until he retired in 2004. Bob was an active member of the Fair Oaks V.F.W. Post 6158 where he was always ready to lifta beer or join a poker game with his buddies. Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred and brother Gerald. He is survived byhis loving wife of 32 years, Linda Rucker Meidinger, his father Gus, brother Don and sister Rhonda Rouse. He was the father to three children, two stepchildren and twelve grandchildren. He surrounded himself with friends, neighbors and family. It is with great sadness, love and respect we say R.I.P. our beloved Bobby.
