Robert Dewolf Butler Jr

November 8,1949-April 5, 2024

Bob was born in Sacramento, Ca. on Nov. 8, 1949. After a courageous fight with liver cancer, he passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2024. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Robert Butler and his son, Gregory Meixner. Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy Butler, his son, Joshua (Brooke) Meixner and three loving grandchildren, Riley (Braedy) Horn, Sophia and Colton Meixner. Bob is also survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Butler, two brothers, Patrick (Kathy) Butler and David (Barbara) Butler,  nieces, Meghan (Eric) Monroe  and Sarah (Nathan) Bengtsson and one nephew, Roy Butler.

Bob’s greatest loves were his family, friends, sports and traveling. Throughout his lifetime, Bob, shared his great sense of humor with all the lives he touched. He is now at peace with no pain and alongside his other son, Greg. Bob will be forever missed but our loving memories of him will live on for years to come.
