Robert “Bob” Lee Brady passed away on August 8th three days before his 92nd birthday in Sacramento, CA. He was born to Detlef and Annie Lenora Brady in Eureka, CA on August 11, 1925. He grew up in Weaverville, CA surrounded by mining, lumber, cattle and the Trinity Alps. He entered the U.S. Navy during WWII and fought bravely in the Pacific Theater where his ship, the USS Lamson, was struck by a kamikaze plane. In 1951 he graduated from San Jose State University where he met the love of his life, Eleanor “Pinky” Stone. They were married in 1952 and spent 65 very happy years together until Bob’s passing. Bob worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative his entire life winning awards for his productivity but more importantly making many friends through his visits to doctors’ offices and pharmacies. He is survived by his wife Pinky and his three children, Pamalee A. Brady, Robert T. Brady and Richard D. Brady. Also surviving him are three grandchildren, Sidney Brady-Beyler, Courtney Brady and Alec Griffith and two great grandchildren. Private services will be held in the Sacramento area.
