Richard David Lang

Richard David Lang, born August 24, 1941, in San Mateo, CA, passed away on July 10, 2023 after a long and valiant battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.  He dearly loved growing up in Middletown, CA where he was active in all sports. Rich worked and lived in the Bay Area and was very proud of owning his Los Gatos Automotive and Tire business.  He was very active in Los Gatos Kiwanis, having served as president and chairman of the Fiesta de Artes for many years.  He also served on the Los Gatos Redevelopment Council.  Rich retired to Penn Valley, CA where he very much enjoyed reviving his golf game.  He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Barbara, Karen  (Jeff), sons David Lang (Christine), and John Lepe (Nancy), grand children Tierney Ziebelman (Tyler), Jesse Lang, Emily Lang, Zachary Crittenden and Jake Crittenden, step children James F. Elliott (Lisa), Sarah Niles (Bill) and step grandchildren Kaleb Elliott, Cassidy Elliott and James Niles.
