Richard Allen Klingman

Richard Allen Klingman, a resident of Pine Grove California, formerly resided in Middlefield Ohio, Plymouth California, and Manatee County Florida, passed away surrounded by family on October 16, 2023 at the age of 74.  He was born on January 23rd, 1949 in Geauga County, Ohio to his late parents Forest Charles Klingman (Father) and Ola Mae (Hunt) Klingman (Mother) of Middlefield Ohio.Richard graduated from Cardinal High School in 1968. He was very competitive in everything he did: baseball, football, wrestling, bowling, canoe, motocross, and snowmobile racing. He had many hobbies in his lifetime. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and gold mining. Richard loved playing cards, going to the horse track, and  adventuring on cruises. Richard was employed by Lincoln Electric Company Cleveland Ohio for 17 years. He earned an outstanding employee of the year citation while working in the Electric Motor Department. Richard left Lincoln Electric due to a medical condition. After leaving Lincoln Electric Richard moved to California with his family and was a partner in several businesses there after many years  in California. He moved to Florida where he worked for a custom home builder until retirement. His Father Forest and Wife Ann Klingman spent many winters with Richard in Florida, and eventually moved there. Richard is preceded in death by Father Forest, Mother Ola, and Stepmother Ann (White) Klingman. He is survived by 3 daughters, Tina Noe, Tracy Crago, and Jenna D’Accriscio, brother Dennis Klingman, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

There will be a Family Celebration of Life in Ohio at a later date.
