Richard Lee Jackson III was born on October 12,1939 in Kansas City MO to Richard Lee Jackson Jr and Myra Rose (Tish) Kelliker. He passed away on October 15, 2019. Since a young age, he loved the outdoors and all it offered – fishing, hiking, camping, dirt bike riding-to name a few. The more remote the location, the better. He came to Northern California when in the US Air Force. After his service, he started his career in the telephone service business as a Lineman for Pacific Bell, retiring over 35 years later as a Lucent Business Manager for Nevada and parts of Northern California. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother, Dale. He is survived by his sister, Roberta Jackson; his wife, Sherry Jackson; daughters Cheryl(Fred) and Wendee(Akio); grandchildren Richard, Jackson, Eric and Jessie. A memorial gathering is to be held at a later date. Remembrances can be made in his honor to a charity supporting the welfare of stray cats (several found their way into his heart over the years) or a charity of your choice.
