Richard Wayne Edgar

Richard “Rick” Wayne Edgar, passed away at his house in Sacramento on Saturday, August 5, 2017 after a lifelong battle of depression. He was born October 24, 1954 in Bakersfield, CA. Rick traveled around the United States and served in the US Army from 1973 to 1981. He is survived by his Daughter and Son-in-law Shandon and Johnny Mitchell, his Son and Daughter-in-law John and Kristen Edgar, his grandchildren Jeremiah, Austin, Kaylee, Phoenix, Kassie and Jonah. He is also survived by his Sisters and Brothers, Carolyn, Nina, Steven, Jim, and Lisa. He also has several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Pearl and his sister Kathy. Services will be held at Central Coast Family Worship Center, 340 San Juan Grade Road, Salinas, CA 93906 on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 2-5 pm. A private internment service will be held at a later date.
