Reba Lillie Zaharie (Sayre) was born April 4, 1926 in Wilder, Idaho and passed away peacefully on September 24, 2015 in Sacramento, California. Reba married Eugene Zaharie in Seattle, Washington in 1945. They settled in Caldwell, Idaho where first daughter Andrea and son Eugene David were born. After moving to Sacramento in 1955, daughters LuAnn and Pamela were born. Reba is survived by her 4 loving children, 6 grandchildrena€""Geno, Tyler, Carrie, Emily, David & Leah, and 3 great-grandchildrena€""Celia, Peter, and Colton. She possessed a beautiful smile, cherished her family, loved the Lord, and was self-sacrificing time and time again. Slow to anger, Reba could be stubborn, but was forgiving in nature. She loved Idaho, pets and flowers, tennis and baseball, music, singing in the kitchen and church choir, and of course cookies and ice cream. Jesus was her moral guide, faith her strength, friendliness her habit, often saying ""Glad to know you"". Her good nature was infectious as she brought joy to those around her. She was always giving in her life on Earth, and is now receiving the loving embrace of her God. In the last 5 years of Reba's life, Gisela Radin and her dog Julie Ann were her friends and caregivers. Reba's family will always be grateful for their relationship. Contributions in her memory can be made to the United Church of Christ and/or College of Idaho, Caldwell, Idaho.
