Raymond Earl Parker

Raymond Earl Parker of Roseville, CA passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was a native of Wilburton, OK where he was born on September 11, 1928 to the late Thomas Earl and Mary Elizabeth (Pendergraft) Parker. He was the brother of the late Leona May Denton. He graduated from Alameda High School in 1946 and the University of California, Berkeley in 1951 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1956. In 1990, after 33 years, he retired from IBM, San Jose as Manager of Plant Operations. Ray is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pat (Bowden), their son Erik and wife Alma Esther (Pinzon), their three children, Sarah, Michael, and Anderson; his daughter, Kathryn and her four children, Shane Easter, Rachel Easter, Dexter Woods and Anthony Woods; his daughter Sandra and her husband Dan Norwood, her daughter Constance Lewis and their daughter Candace Norwood; and several great-grandchildren.
