Nora Ellen Currier

Nora Ellen Currier, 87, passed away December 22, 2017. Nora retired from the County of Santa Clara in 1992. She enjoyed her job as the first female member of the road maintenance crew, as well as traveling and spending time with her family. Nora was preceded in death by her husband Edward Currier, son David Currier, and sisters Helen, Hilda and Doris. She is survived by her brother Roy Svilar of Reno, NV and her daughters Anita Ortiz of Hollister, CA, Brenda Rutledge of Denton, TX, and Cindy Currier of Sacramento, CA. She also leaves six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
