Nita Valladao, a native Californian, was born on February 2, 1925 in McFarland and passed away peacefully at home in Sacramento on August 4, 2017. She was 92 years old. Nita was a retired Court Clerk from the County of Sacramento, and her hobbies were lengthy, including ballroom dancing, crafting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and Hollywood blockbusters. She even enjoyed an occasional bus trip to play the slots. Nita studied pencil art as a young woman, was an avid reader her whole life, and was well known for her great love of cats. Her style was unique, and her life, complete. Nita is survived by her five daughters, Jonna Ahl, Peggy Whitehead, D’Lynne Gaub, Nita D’Arcy and Margaret Valencia, as well as 10 grandchildren, Jake, Wes, Alvin, Alison, Amy, Mary Jane, Chase, Gregory, Patrick and Nathan, and seven great-grandchildren, Garland, Jameson, Haley, Wyatt, Macey, Genevieve and Christian. She is preceded in death by grandson Aanon and great-granddaughter Alexandra.
