Nikola Pejovich

July 1, 1965 — March 25, 2023

Nikola Pejovich, at 57 years old entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on March 25 th , 2023 surrounded by family at home. He was born on July 1 st , 1965 to Velika Pejovich at Oakland Hospital. Nikola, a loving husband and father, is survived by his wife, April; children, Justin, Gabrielle, and Danielle; mother, Velika, mother-in-law, Margaret; siblings, Nevenka Kordic, Zorka Gojkovich, Mikki Kurysh &; their families; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the U.S. and Montenegro. He was preceded in death by his father, Pejovich and father-in-law, Ron Webb.

Nikola grew up in San Lorenzo with his sisters. The family spent a short time living in Canada where his father, spent many years working in the coal mines of Cadimen, Alberta, before returning back to the Bay Area. Nikola graduated from San Lorenzo High School, especially excelling at sports-specifically golf and baseball. Nikola met his wife, April, through friends, and he knew she was the one then. They got married and quickly started their family. From attending sports games, to coaching, to family trips, his family always came first and they were always on the front of his mind. Nikola worked for Bimbo Bakery for 26 years as a bread driver. He also worked at Roseville Sun City’s golf course for 22 years. He was respected and loved by his peers and anyone who he came into contact with. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Always ready to lend a hand when needed. He was very proud of his Montenegrin heritage and his family.

Wake will take place on Sunday, April 2nd at 6pm at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Serbian Orthodox Church in Fair Oaks, CA followed by beverages & appetizers in the hall after the service. Funeral will take place on Monday, April 3 rd at 10am at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Serbian Orthodox Church in Fair Oaks, CA and then burial at Fair Oaks Cemetery. Please join us at the Serbian Hall afterwards
