Nick began his career in the liquor industry as a display man and later became a highly successful salesman. His support of the liquor industry, later encouraged him to join Alcoholics Anonymous and was sober for 35 years. Nick was an entrepreneur at heart, owning several successful businesses throughout his life. Nick's entrepreneurial journey started when he owned and operated a restaurant in Carmichael, California called Nicky's Gourmet Parlor. Nick made a name for himself as he was a pioneer in the carpet cleaning and dyeing industry where he owned; New Dimension Carpet Cleaning and Dyeing. Throughout his successful entrepreneurial journey and owning multiple businesses prior, Nick transitioned the last 18 years of his life to Tactile Signage where he was truly a pioneer in the signage industry. He helped and supported the visually impaired by implementing his own unique and creative ADA signage. From his work, Nick helped pave the way for the visually impaired to live a better and more convenient way of life, giving back to the community. But most of all, Nick was passionate about Tactile Signage and was able to do something he loved everyday. Nick never called it a job, rather doing what he loved and supporting his family through Tactile Signage.
