Michael Jessie Wise

With a heavy heart the family of Michael J. Wise would like to announce his passing at age 61. Michael passed away at Mercy San Juan Hospital on August 22, 2017 due to his battle with cancer. Michael was born November 12, 1955 in Sacramento, CA and graduated from Encina High School. Michael is survived by his children Justin and Heather, younger brothers Brian and Nathan, sister in laws Linda and Barbara, the mother of his children Randi, long-time friend Becky and her son Bobby, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, who reside here in the United States and in Japan. He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Sr. and Kimiko, brothers Dewey Jr., Matthew, his sister Cynthia and his beloved dog George. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing poker, traveling to Japan to visit with relatives, holidays with the family, trips to the coast and going to the Sacramento Kings games with his friend Steve Babcock. At Michael's request, no funeral services will be held. However, a Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday September 3, 2017, from 4-8pm at the Veteran's Memorial Hall at Carmichael Park located at 5750 Grant Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608.
