Michael Anthony Urso

Michael Anthony Urso June 20, 1966 - October 29, 2017 Mike passed away quietly in his sleep at the young age of 51 in the morning hours of October 29th, 2017. His wife Kim and kids Patrich and Hannah at his side. He is survived by his Wife, Kim, his son Patrich, his daughter Hannah, and his brothers Richard and Daniel. Mike was a man who was loved. He left behind a big hole in so many hearts. We celebrated Mike's life on November 4th with stories and songs by his cousins. Mike worked for the State of California for 17 years as an auditor until his retirement in 2017. Prior to that he had his own company, "Streaks Limited" in Chico were he graduated with a masters from Chico State. He was born in Redwood City, California on June 20th, 1966, at Sequoia Hospital to Richard and Patricia Urso. He spent his first 10 years in San Mateo before the family moved to Forbestown. In Forbestown he ran the local market and gas station till 1984 when he moved to Marysville. He graduated HS in 1985 from Marysville High School. Mike was instrumental in creating policies and guidelines that are still implemented while serving on the board at his local school and soccer club. He coached and helped shape the character of 100's of kids for many years in the Elk Grove area. Mike loved Lake Oroville where his family had a house boat since 1977. He loved fishing, and snow skiing with his family in Colorado. He also loved cooking. No one could whip out a bunch of sushi like Mike could. His nieces and nephews always enjoyed his humor and wit. Mike (bulldog) Urso will forever be missed and was definitely loved.
