Melinda Erica Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melinda Erica Smith, who left this world on July 11th at 2:36 p.m. at the age of 37. Born on March 25, 1987, Melinda dedicated her life to the medical field, serving as a compassionate medical assistant. Her kindness and expertise touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues. Melinda was the proud mother of four beautiful children: Christopher 19, Cameron 15, Calista 10, and Calayah 3. She shared over 20 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Christopher Smith, who passed away in 2022. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and joy. Melinda was not only a devoted mother but also a cherished daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend to many. Her generous spirit and unwavering support for those she loved were hallmarks of her character. She will be remembered for her nurturing nature, infectious smile, and the profound love she showed to everyone around her. Melinda leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and compassion that will continue to inspire her children and all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on July 28, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento, CA The celebration of life will continue from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Country Club Lanes Bowling Alley in the Stargate Room upstairs, located at 2600 Watt Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821 .
