Matthew Jonah O'Keefe

Matthew Jonah O’Keefe  was born on March 12, 2004 in Davis California to Jaye Shawn Jones and Kathleen Marie O’Keefe.  Matt passed away suddenly at the age of 19 on Monday August 14, 2023 from complications associated with Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Epilepsy.  His Father Jaye passed away suddenly from the same disease (Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) at the age of 30 in  2009.  Matt was known for his enormous heart to anyone in need ,  his sense of humor and his loving, gentle, kind soul.   In his spare time Matt loved being with his friends who were an incredible support for Matt and his family.  Matt loved playing video games and was getting ready to start school at Sacramento City College to be a video game creator.
Matt is survived by his Mom Kathleen, his sister Chloe and his brother Jaye as well as a large extended family.
