Martin Lee Goodrich

Martin "Marty" Lee Goodrich, 70, returned to his heavenly home on December 8, 2018 after a valiant battle with cancer. His love and devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle, and ultimately gave him peace. Marty is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan, their daughter, Gina Codding, their son, Shawn Goodrich, and 5 grandchildren, Brayden Goodrich, Franklin, Lincoln, Sofia, and Reagan Codding, his brothers Roger Goodrich, Jr., Gary Goodrich, Patrick Goodrich, Richard Goodrich, Timothy Goodrich, and sister Carolyn. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronny, parents Roger and Cecilia, step-mother Joann, and brother Larry. Marty was born in Florence, Colorado on August 5, 1948. Marty graduated from McLain High School (Fresno, CA) in 1966 and joined the Army shortly thereafter. Marty served proudly in Vietnam and met his lifelong love and partner Susan. Marty loved his family, playing with his grandchildren, working on cars, collecting tools, and especially fishing. A Celebration of Life service in memory of Marty will be held on Saturday, January 26th, at 11:00 AM. The service will be held at Bayside Granite Bay Church, 8191 Sierra College Blvd, Roseville, CA 95661.
