Marion Esther Breault

Marion E. Breault January 4, 1924 – September 18, 2017 On Monday, September 18, 2017 Marion Esther Kilburne Breault (nickname Bunny), 93, passed away and has been reunited with her late husband, Jean Joseph Breault (May 12, 1923 – May 23, 1993). Marion was born on January 4, 1924 in Troy, New York to Frederic and Astrid Kilburne. It was at Lansingburgh High School where she first met her future husband, Jean, who frequently told the story of when he first saw Marion and then turned to his friend and said, “I’m going to marry that girl someday”. And he was right. Marion and Jean were married for 50 years. During their 50 years of marriage they enjoyed square dancing and belonged to the Starlight Shufflers and the Forty-Niners club. They both enjoyed cooking and could often be seen side by side in the kitchen preparing meals that were enjoyed by the entire family. Marion also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, giving afghans and quilts to many of her children and grandchildren. The needlework she enjoyed doing could be seen on many of her pillowcases, tablecloths and doilies. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her 6 children, Robert J Breault, Theresa A Hamm, Karen M Stocker (deceased), Katherine Harris, William F Breault and Jeanne M Breault. She was also a doting grandmother to 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren who will miss her.
