Maria Villanueva Sangria

Maria (Mary) V. Sangria, age 81, born 16 January 1936 in Botolan, Zambales, Philippines to Tomas Villanueava and Aurora Yap. She departed this life peacefully on 22 July 2017 in Carmichael, CA. Mary graduated high school in the Philippines, and then she finished her degree as a registered nurse. She went on to move to Canada and then the United States where she met and married Raymond. After marrying, and having two kids, the couple decided to move back to the Philippines to raise their sons. Mary decided to be a stay at home mom, and she took great pride in raising her children and providing them both with an education. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of people when they needed help. She was close with her sisters and her surviving son. She could often be found in the kitchen preparing meals for loved ones.Mary also enjoyed traveling when she had spare time. . Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond and son, Raynard. She is survived by her son, Michael, grand children, Matthew & Nathan, sibling Corazon, Amor, La Paz & Eureka and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
