Marcelino Ruelas Vigil

Marcelino Vigil was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, and cousin. He left behind his wife, Rita, and two daughters Maria and Katrina. He was the eldest of seven children. He leaves behind two brothers, and four sisters. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico, on August 10th, 1972, to his mother Almarosa and father Leonardo. He was 51 years young when God decided it was his time to go home. Many would describe Marcelino as a kind, gentle, patient, loving man. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Cancer on March 17th of 2023, and passed nine months later on December 18th.  He was a hard-working dedicated man who loved the beauty of nature, he enjoyed working outside, so him and his wife started a small business that began to grow and become successful until they had to give it up due to his illness. He came to the Sacramento area in 1998 and soon meet his future wife Rita in 2002. Shortly after he met his wife they gave birth to his first biological child, Maria Victoria Vigil, in 2003. For 6 years they stayed in the Carmichael area and in 2009 moved to San Jose, California. In 2014 he decided to move back to the Sacramento area which is now his resting place. He always made sure he put everyone's needs in front of his own. He was a simple man that enjoyed the simple things in life, like playing, and watching soccer, he even joined a small league in 2011. He loved to barbecue, spend time with his family, water his garden, play the guitar, and sing his favorite songs. He didn't need much but his family and if you meet him once he loved you like family every time after. He will be missed more than words can express, but I know we will see him again, as God created us to have eternal life through him.
