Mabel ""Rogene"" Reynolds, 94, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2016 at home in Folsom, California. She was born June 28, 1921 on a farm in Canton, Illinois, the second of three daughters to the late Adolph and Corlieu Lutticken. Rogene attended Woodruff High School, making lifelong friends and graduated with honors in 1939. She was employed by Central National Bank until 1945, when she married the love of her life, Robert ""Bob"" Reynolds at The Little Church Around the Corner in New York City while he was serving in the Navy during World War II. They had two children, Sandra Lee and Scott Elliott and resided in Peoria until they found the sunshine in Arizona and celebrated 50 years of marriage. Bob passed in 1995 and Rogene returned to Peoria to enjoy her many friends and family until 2004. She relocated to Northern California to live out her last years with her daughter, near her granddaughter and great grandson. She loved her family and many friends deeply; they were her passion and always kept in touch with genuine interest. A woman of impeccable style, she spent her life as a devoted homemaker and loved to entertain. Rogene was a devout member of University United Methodist Church in Peoria since 1956. She is survived by her children, Sandy (Folsom, CA) and Scott (Renée) (Denver, CO), three grandchildren, Angela, Ashley (Ted) and Mark, one great grandson, Josh, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred and Betty Ann and one grandson, Brian. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28, 2016 (her 95th birthday) at 1:00 p.m., University United Methodist Church. A private graveside service will be held at Springdale Cemetery.
