LOUIE RUSSELL GUERRA OCTOBER 15, 1948-MARCH 19, 2018 Louie Russell Guerra (69) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2018, surrounded by loving family and friends.Louie was born on October 15, 1948, in Gustine, California to Louie Gusman and Anita Joyce (Searcy) Guerra, who proceeded him in death. Louie is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary; and together, their five children LaDana Hendrix (Randy), Louie Guerra Jr. (Christine), Brandon Guerra, Charmagne Supat (Andy), and Alan Supat.He is also survived by his sister-in-law Margaret Arrollo, his brother Gabriel and wife Dolly Arrollo.Louie's pride and joy was his five grandchildren Sherry, Catalina, Laela, Eric and Natalie.Louie also has neices, nephews and friends that he considered a part of his immediate family.In addition to his parents, Louie was proceeded in death by brothers David Arrollo, August E. Arrollo Jr. (wife Cookie) and Donald Guerra; and sisters Beatrice Gomes (Leo) and Anita Tatum. After graduating early from Patterson High School, Louie served with the United States Armed Forces as a communications specialist/radio operator from November 18, 1966, returning home on July 4, 1969.After working in the Santa Rosa and Oroville communities, Louie moved to the Sacramento area to work for the Department of Motor Vehicles, retiring with over 35 years of state service. We will all miss his sense of humor and his unwavering support. In-lieu of flowers the family requests rememberances be made to a charity of your choice or the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
