Lois Ruth Langsea, sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Jesus Christ, passed away and stood in His presence on August 29, 2019. The eldest of 6 children, Lois grew up in North Dakota where she helped care for her siblings while her parents worked in a few different country stores. They moved around before settling in Seattle, WA where Lois graduated from Ballard High School, worked office jobs, sang in a trio and played piano at Ballard Baptist Church, and met her husband Vic. They moved to Sacramento, CA where they raised their daughter and twin boys to repent and trust in the Lord as their Savior. Lois sang in the choir, played piano, taught children’s Sunday School and was a Pioneer Girls leader at Arcade Baptist Church, was a homemaker, helped people find jobs while working at a Temp Agency, did crafts, upholstered, sewed many things including tennis shop clothes and her children’s wedding garments. She kept herself in the love of God, looking for her Lord Jesus Christ’s mercy unto eternal life. In her final years, she was cared for by her family, Sun Oak Assisted Living, and Elena at her 4-bed Care Home, but she never forgot her Lord God and family. Lois is survived by her children Janice Rowlee (Ted), Bruce Langsea (Terri), Gerry Langsea (Debbie), her sister and in-laws Helen Hauge, Gloria Wedman, Marie Shallenberger, Chuck Larsen, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
