Linda Sue Freyslaben, aged 55, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2018 at home in Antelope, CA. Born January 10, 1963 to Ben Dey and Eiko Sawa in South Dakota, Linda was known to many as the “Seahawk Lady”. She was raised in Sacramento but she called Seattle, WA her home. There she gave birth to four wonderful children that she deeply loved and raised on her own. While raising her four children she worked in the healthcare profession. She had a love for helping others from her profession to making sandwhiches for the homeless on the streets of San Francisco. Linda married the love of her life, James Freyslaben, in 2007. Their time spent together were the happiest years of her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking her dog, traveling to Disneyland and Seattle year round. Linda was one of the, if not the, biggest Seattle Seahawk fan around. Her enthusiasm for her favorite team knew no limits. The same was said for the love of her children of whom she is survived by. They are Courtney McCans, 31, Kevin McCans, 30, Kyle McCans, 28, and Sean Gay, 26. She is predeceased by her loving husband James Freyslaben and her father Benjamin Dey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Make a Wish Foundation. A organization close to her heart for her son. She will always be in our thoughts those closest to her. Her life is an example to us for the ferocity of spirit to challenge the world as an advocate. We love you Mom.
