Leonard Jay Moreno

Leonard Jay Moreno was born January 18, 1958 in Baker, Oregon. He was one of seven children born to Leonardo L. Moreno and Vena (Teddy) Janoe. The family moved to Sacramento, CA in 1962. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1976. Growing up, Leonard loved playing sports. He was an outstanding athlete in football and baseball. Leonard enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. Leonard is preceded in death by his father, Leonardo L. Moreno. He is survived by his mother Teddy (Phelps) Hobart, daughter Sara Moreno, sons Ryan (Kaylea) Moreno and Matt Perry. Brothers and Sisters: Elaina (Mike) Goettsch Frank (Carla) Moreno Linda (Clark) Moreno Boomhower Michael Moreno Sandy (Gary) Moro Thomas Moreno Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, (great) nieces and nephews. Leonard was a sweet, gentle person and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Service and reception will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Tuesday, February 23rd at 11am.
