It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lance Julius Johnson aged 59, of Citrus Heights, CA. A devoted husband, cherished father, beloved grandfather, and passionate Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast. Lance peacefully passed away on January 24th 2024 in his home surrounded by family. Born on January 16th 1965 in the welcoming community of Merced, CA., to his parents, Alpha May “Candy” Johnson and Aubrey Lynn “Johnny” Johnson, who preceded him in death. Lance's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family. He was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Lance’s love for life was matched only by his love for his family and motorcycles. Lance was a devoted husband to his wife Angel Johnson, a loving father to his two children Tabitha Rivera and Candice Johnson, and a beloved grandfather to Karmyn Rivera, He was also a treasured nephew and endearing cousin.

He was a pillar of strength and support, always putting his family first. Lance cherished spending time with loved ones he, also indulged in various hobbies , watching WWE, exploring the open road on his bike with friends. He had a passion for art, jewelry, decorating, or simply sharing stories around the dinner table. He leaves behind a legacy of adventure, laughter, and unwavering love. Lance was a respected member of the community, and had many friends. He was known for his integrity and hard work. He touched the lives of many, and had a heart for making friends no matter where he went. Lance found solace and community at Bayside Granite Bay, where he worshiped. Lance will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered: for his fearless spirit, kind heart, compassion, humor, generosity, and the countless memories he shared with his many family and friends. Though he may be gone, his spirit will forever ride on in the hearts of those who loved him.

The final tribute to Lance's life will commence with a service at Bayside of Granite Bay on March 2 at 10 am, followed by a commemorative motorcycle procession from the church to his treasured home at 7021 Calvin Dr, Citrus Heights, California. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer society in Lance's memory.
