Kenneth Harold Moog, of Gold River, California, passed away suddenly at home on January 28, 2018. Ken was born in Reno, Nevada on August 16, 1942 to the late Harold and Rita Moog. Ken is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 53 years, Corky Moog; sons Scott (Moe), and Randy (Melissa) and daughter Cindy Centerwall (Steve); his eight Grandchildren Christa, Jordyn, Riley, Isabella, Dempsey, Rogan, Peyton and Paxton; sisters Carol Lee, Debbie and Barbara; and numerous nieces and nephews, including his niece Chris Olson, who was more like a daughter. Ken was raised in San Jose, California, where he attended Willow Glen High School and went on to enlist in the Marine Corps and served six years before returning to run his own business for 40 years. Ken was a quiet and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling to Carmel with Corky, boys’ weekends in Reno and hanging out with his yellow lab buddy, Pacer. He loved to laugh and tease and his dry sense of humor always lightened any mood. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. A private celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
