Katrina Margaret Hill

Katrina “Tina” Hill September 17, 1939 – January 26, 2022 Katrina “Tina” Hill, a Christian, passed away at home surrounded by family to be with the Lord on January 26, 2022. Tina was born September 17, 1939 in the Bronx, New York to Leonard and Mary Ann Hill. While still very young, her family moved to San Francisco, CA and eventually ended up in Sacramento, CA where she spent the remainder of her life. Being the oldest of 7 children, she graciously accepted the role of caregiver throughout her life. She helped raise 3 generations. Her loss is felt deeply by her family and friends. Tina was well known for being lighthearted and always available for those in need. She was generous with her time, presence, and love. Tina made friends easily with people she met over the years by making everyone feel welcome and comfortable with her quick wit and humor. She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend. Tina was well known for her love of yard sales although she rarely kept anything she bought. She loved music and often made a visit to make Jacob her personal DJ. She was always present at parties and family gatherings enjoying food, games, and each other. She loved to belt out church songs and provide prayers whenever needed. Tina was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael. She is survived by her siblings Vickie, Leonard, Emmett, Marianne, and Cecilia. Tina is also survived by nieces and nephews Sandy, Lori, Melissa, Jason, Johanna, Bridgette, Windy, Nick, and Lisa. She is well loved and remembered by her niece’s and nephew’s children Holly, Sean, Janelle, Gabriella, Jacob, Meghan, Izabella, and Timothy who lovingly called her Aunt Tina.
