Karen Nadine Wegman

It is with great sadness, the family of Karen Nadine Wegman (Gerdes) announces her passing on Monday October 22 2018 , at the age of 78 years. Karen was Born on Feb 13, 1940 by her parents Fred B Gerdes of Cozad, Nebraska and Velma (Eileen) Gerdes of Lexington, Nebraska. Karen moved to Arden Park, Ca with her Parents and her identical Twin Sharon Hensley in 1951. Karen will be remembered by her husband of 45 years Jon Wegman and her children, Bonnie Freeman, Teresa Gerdes-Creamer, Timothy Wegman, Richard Danaher jr, Pamela Bobert, Judy Wegman and Ricky Wegman. Karen was Predeceased by her children Tommy Gerdes and Sharon Wegman. Karen will also be fondly remembered by her 23 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Karen is survived by her 3 siblings, Sharon Hensley, Jeannie Beatty and Fred B Gerdes Jr ( Butch) A Funeral Service in memory of Karen will be held on Sunday, November 4th at 1:30 p.m., at Fair Oaks Cemetery located at 7780 Olive Street, Fair Oaks Ca 95628. By Reverend Todd Wallace, Lutheran Good Sheppard. We will have a car procession immediately following the service from Fair Oaks Cemetery to the Carmichael Park Clubhouse, 5750 Grant Ave Carmichael Ca 95608 Where we will have a celebration of life for Karen, We do ask that you bring a dish and lots of memories to share with all of Karen's loved ones.
