Julie Ann Wood

Passed away peacefully and entered her heavenly home on January 21, 2018. She lived in Sacramento with her husband of 26 years, Michael, where she fought a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her through this and gave her hope and peace. Julie was born Julie Ann Swette in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 3, 1962. She lived there and in Massachusetts as well as New Hampshire before moving out to California where she raised her family and earned her credentials in Early Childhood Development and worked as a preschool teacher and director and later as a homeschooling mom. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She lived life with zeal and had a wonderful love for Jesus. Julie is survived by her husband, her two sons, Joshua and Andrew and her daughter Brittany. A celebration of Julie’s life will be held at Sierra View Funeral Chapel, 6201 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Carmichael, CA 95608 on February 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Julie was a strong believer in a life well celebrated so, as a final request, the family wishes that you try to take time each day to celebrate life and loved ones and appreciate each day for blessing it truly is.
