Joan P. Bain

Joan (Sherer) Bain Place of birth:Park Falls WI Religious affiliation:Presbyterian Born in June 1946, was the third child out of four of Harold and Joyce. She leaves behind her husband Michael of 52 years, high school sweethearts, a daughter Jennifer and her husband Joe, son Jason and his wife Kris. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Riley, Gwendolyn, and Jacoby, her brother Ken, (who she shares the same B-Day) and his wife Maureen, and brother Stan, and his wife Cathy. Joan graduated from Folsom High (Class of 64, go Bulldogs) and American River College. After spending 8 years as an Air Force family with assignments in Washington DC and Anchorage Alaska, Joan found her calling teaching in the Folsom Cordova School District as a Special Education Resource Specialist for 29 years. Joan has a beautiful smile that would light up her face and make anyone she meets a friend. She loved puttering in the back-yard garden and grew the best tasting tomatoes. She also loved growing flowers, with roses being one of her favorites. The family is planning a private funeral and is hopeful to have a celebration of life with family and friends once gatherings are safe.
