Jeannene Ann Moore

Jeannene Ann Moore (Partee) 78, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home on July 1, 2015. Jeannene is survived by her three cherished daughters, Theresa, Kathleen and Linda along with her brother George and his wife Irene. She is also survived by her son-in-law Doug, three loving grandchildren, Jennifer, Saleh (Lee) and Amanda along with 4 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Jeannene loved and doted on her cats Sebastian and Precious who are feeling the loss of their beloved guardian. Jeannene had a magnificent singing voice and was an exceptional pianist who also played the organ. She won a full scholarship to Saint Mary's College for these gifts. Throughout much of her adult life, she was actively involved in her church choir. She was very passionate about the hymns/music and sharing this passion with the congregation brought her and everyone else such joy. In 1983, Jeannene and her church choir traveled to Rome, Italy and actually sang for the Pope. She was so proud of this accomplishment and it was one of the highlights of her life. She always gave to the Catholic Diocese, Maryknoll, World Vision and the SPCA (to list a few) on a monthly basis throughout her entire life. Jeannene was a very giving and loving person. Those that knew her were truly blessed. The family invites you to attend the Viewing and Rosary to be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 pm with the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Location is Sierra View Chapel and Funeral home at 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608. The Church Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, 5057 Cottage Way, Carmichael, CA 95608. Immediately following the Church service, family will be continuing the celebration of her life at the church hall within the same location. Food will be provided. Mom requested that in lieu of flowers that donations are made in her honor to her favorite charity the SPCA. She loved the work they do in helping defenseless animals.
