Jeanne Lucille Cooper

Jeanne Lucille Cooper (nee Erickson) passed away at the age of 81 on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Granite Bay, California.

Born in San Diego to Elsie J. Wilman and Charles G. Erickson, Jeanne spent her youth in Oceanside, CA and most of her adult life in Mount Shasta, CA. She and her husband, Martin M. Cooper, built, owned, and operated Tree House Motor Inn. After several decades in the hotel business, Jeanne and Marty retired to Kailua-Kona on the big island of Hawaii where they cultivated vanilla beans. Following Martin’s death in 2011, Jeanne moved back to the mainland to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by her son Arthur (Donna) Greene of Las Vegas, NV, and daughter Laura (Kane) Greene Wilkin of Granite Bay, CA, along with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
