Jason Todd May of Nevada City, CA, and more recently of Carmichael, CA, died August 22, 2019, after a long fight with a glioblastoma cancer. He was born January 13, 1972 in Alexandria, VA, to Geraldine Sims May and Jerry May. Jason was very active in sports in Vacaville and participated in football, wrestling, and rugby. He graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management. He worked his entire career for the US Geological Survey as a biologist. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hike and spend time with nature. He also loved to travel and enjoyed many trips here and abroad. He is survived by his father, Jerry; stepmother, Pat; and stepsister, JoAnna Miller and stepbrothers Chris, Chad and Justin Chapman, as well asUncle Ronnie Norman and several cousins. Heis also survived by a multitude of friends, that he made everywhere he went. His mother, Geraldine, preceded him in death.
